The West Indian American Day Carnival, an annual celebration of Caribbean culture and pride, was held in the streets of Brooklyn on Monday. The parade is one of the biggest parades in New York City, with 4 million participants and spectators.

Yesterday was my 25th time attending WIDP it never gets old having fun and whining on pretty Carribean women.I went during the 1990s it was lit and used to end at 11 at night on Eastern Parkway oh yeah S Felder of NYC

The food is very limited. Too much rice. Not enough vegetables. Too bulky.

We need to come back to our true heritage, that is being the children of the MOST HIGH. The 12 tribes of Israel, God's chosen people. They will always allow us to be lost and engage in the folly. As long as you don't know who you truly are.

What I don't understand is why they call it " indian" if they're not indian. I don't see not even one person who is indian in this parade. I only see black people. So, I think they should call it: West Caribbean parade.❤

@Belriver:U complain about not enough vegetables & bulkie foods: U dont have to buy it in America: U have choices, in America find a vegan restaurant for vegetables: why complain: Caribbean culture mostly cook our vegetables with our meats and our fruits and saps provide us with nectars: a perfect nutritious balance to illiminate obesity:
