Do you know how rare it is to be in your mid 20s and still have a pet from your entire childhood, your entire living memory.
I can only imagine how special the bond between you and Gizmo. Some human friendships don’t even last that long. I just think that’s so cool.

I have an idea for a video- go through all your pets and rank them on how much of you time it takes to take care of them. You could do a log for a week and and count the hours. I would be interested to see the difference between how long it takes to take care of your rabbits, vs the turtle including tank cleaning, vs the snakes which are only fed about once a week, vs the group of geckos. My theory is 8 snakes take less time than two bunnies— bunnies the feeding and clean up so take so much time. So when people have lots of reptiles it may look like they have lots of animals but they take way less time to feed and clean up after.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Nova was clearly a very special member of your family. Having a ton of animals, as long as you have the time, knowledge and resources to care for them, is no problem.

Anyone who watches this will clearly see that all of your animals are more than adequately cared for. Regardless of the total. I truly miss Nova, I cannot imagine how much you and Maddie do as well. She was such a divine soul <3

RIP Nova. I tear up every time you talk about her. She was such a good girl. And I did the same thing after our family dog of 13 yrs passed. It was before Cuddle Clones existed. But I found a higher quality plush dog that looked somewhat realistic and looked a lot like him. To this day I still have him, and probably always will.
I would LOVE a parrot. But if I get one, I will definitely be rescuing an older one so I don't have to worry about it being in my will. But more than likely I will probably never be able to own one. So I'll just live vicariously through you and your birds.
Also, if Tesla ever needs a girlfriend. I have a single gene VPI axanthic looking for love in the near future, in the next year or 2.

I was hesitant at first with the amount of animals and very scared due to the fact that I always want animals to be comfortable but you truly seem like an exemplary owner that has nothing but care for them. Keep doing amazing things

Cresties dropping their tails is the main reason I couldn’t get one with a tail. the stress of maybe seeing a tail on the tank floor one day would finish me.
