Back in the 1960s, a famous comment went as follows:
“How would you like to see your daughter dating a Rolling Stone?”
“How would you like to see your daughter within a mile of a Pretty Thing?”
The Pretty Things missed out partly because their management booked them on a tour in Australia while the other British bands were getting booked in the USA.
