I'm looking forward to seeing it sharpened on the venerable TSPROF!
Thanks, and take care...

Lionsteel m390 is very poor performance due to the microstructure from the heat treatment protocol that they designed. Its not worth the price they are selling them for due to this. Your getting a sliver of the performance that m390 is capable of.

This has been tested with many tests and many testers and even Lionsteel themselves describe its low performance on the forums where they have detailed their testing information and heat treatment.

It is 60rc just like a large amount of m390 from other manufacturer's, but they don't include liquid nitrogen and do a low heat temper. They also burn the edges when sharpening and grinding without running water on belts.

For comparison reate use water cooled grinding and sharpening and use liquid nitrogen, and 3 high heat tempers. Performance is above average in comparison to most other brands.
