I use toggle bolts for heavy stuff. The only drawback is you need a bigger hole in the wall than you'd like.

Snap toggles are better than regular toggles, as you don't need to put the bolt through the hanger or whatever you are hanging first. Plus the bolt can be unscrewed without the anchor falling into the wall.

Uses cigarette filter and shove into hole and put super glue in it turns into a plastic and you can fill it.

I used this stuff to fix an anchor hole after I used too big a drill bit but applied it as a patch over the hole and redrilled it. It worked great. Used for a towel rack and the hold is tight.

Just use the screw in anchors, (plastic or metal), they're the best, and quickest. No need for any patches or filler.

I use toggle bolts 90% of the time. They just work the best. If it’s something under 5 pounds I’ll use the cheap plastic ones that come with a lot of the things for hanging.

Buaha! This was me a few minutes ago. I just grabbed an extra toggle anchor and that helped me out real quick

Toggle bolts are my go-to for this. If it's gotten so loose that the anchor can come out, then step #1 of using a toggle bolt is already done.
