We now see why you have so much care about history. As a former serving member of Germanys armed forces I take it on a sonar specialist. Is something you shared with us must have been a difficult and scary job were mistakes couldn’t be taken. The lives of others were in your hands is a daunting experience. And most especially to see such rare sights, as the corner guard position, and the whole sub pen from the bottom, the top, and, the dry dock gate. I doubt very few have ever seen it all like this, and very, very, few have ever seen the guard post, or been able to play with the shutters! Thank you both for taking the time, and effort, to share this incredible location with us. That's one WILD building! You can just tell the walls are thick from the outside. It's more protected than buildings of government of the time. What a great video! Thanks for taking us along to see this piece of history.

Amazing video, as always! Thanks for sharing! A friend and I went to the largest U-boat facility of Germany: the Valentin submarine factory in Bremen. You are so totally right that it is hard to imagine how large the building really is. So impressive!

And so amazing you were able to see all the secrets. That guard tower in the top corner… wow, just wow! Thanks so much for sharing!

It wasn't until you and EE went down the stairs to the bottom of the pen that I really got a sense of the size of this place. Amazing that you received permission to tour the place and were able to document it!!! That gate folds!!! Crazy!! Pics of the U-Boats in the place was great to see. Top corner visitor and the shutter moved!! Awesome! What a huge area for storage and workshops! Soldier footprints in the concrete from the construction who probably were watching over the workers as they put n the concrete, set forever for us to see! Great stuff!!
