What a wonderful wagon and even better Sentinel S6 got to go out for the day on her birthday! I've never seen one of these running under there own power. I love that some of the old machines are still running many decades after they were no longer seen as viable to businesses to keep them going. Many thanks for sharing.

Another great video Matilda; I have often seen these Sentinel steam lorries at steam fairs but never inside the cab, well done. 👍

Greetings from across the pond! Awesome beast of a truck, the oldest trucks I have seen were chain driven Mack trucks in independence day parades.

Matilda, you and your Mum go to visit some fabulous places and all your videos are just joyous!
Only you two could find a steam powered truck and with a lady in command!

This is fascinating. My great grandfather bought a S6 threeway tipper new in May 1934. It replaced a much older DG4. My grandfather used to wax lyrical with stories of their Sentinals. They used them to deliver sandstone from their quarry.

I hope you didn't get your dress dirty in the cabin 😮😊
Always good to see a Sentinel, I've got a few models in my collection, not tippers, but fine pieces of steam engineering.
