This was the first Ramsey episode I have ever seen with a technical difficulty. I have watched every episode since 2014.

"Be dashing doors as soon as you get off the phone dude", love Dave Ramsey. Hes just the dad we need and the tough love is both tough and can feel the love. Hes quiet and listening and asking at first...then the Dave we know and love fills the rest out.

The young man who mows my lawn told me that my water meter out at the street was leaking and the ditch between my lawn and the street was full of water. I called Nashville's water company to report it and someone will come out and see what needs to be done and let me know. MAYBE they will say this is up to Metro Water to fix, and they will do it on Metro's dime or MAYBE they will tell me I will need a plumber to come and fix it, and I will have to do it on MY dime. Here's why I am including this in a Dave Ramsey video. I am a widow and I live on a fixed income but thanks to doing the debt snowball and following the Ramsey plan, I am totally debt free and I have an emergency fund so while I am a bit concerned about how soon I can get this done I am NOT fearful that I might have to make the decision as to whether I will fix my water problem or EAT for the next month. For someone in my circumstances, I can't explain how much peace of mind that gives me. THANKS, DAVE!

Dave Ramsey is on fire! I sure missed him. He has such a unique gift that although he created and follows his principles, he thinks and gives others outside the box thoughts and solutions whereas other personalities are just stuck in his principles and lack creativity. Thank you so much Dave Ramsey for all that you do!!

Jeez, budget! We did this the first month we were married and we were 18 and 21 when we started in the 80's and had no money back then. One time after paying the bills, put gas in the car, got our groceries, put some money in our savings which was only $250 dollars, we literally had 10 bucks in our pocket! We went out for ice cream that night - LOL!!! Things are waaaayyyy better now, in our late 50's and we still budget. Always need to have a finger on the pulse and good communication as well. We even let each other know when we're purchasing stuff on Amazon - it's called respect.

Logan I don't know if you'll read this comment but I just watched your segment I am doordashing 12 hours a day 6 days a week I know it's not a dream job for anyone but doing that I make over $1, 000 a week sometimes up to 1300 so if you can commit yourself to it even though you won't have a life for a while you can make the money you need to get through this until you find a more stable job you can do it I believe in you I'm in the same situation as you financially except I have rent to pay. With doordash when you start out you have to get on the schedule but after you do a certain number of deliveries then you upgrade to a Platinum Status and you can Dash whenever you want so if you just get through that initial stage it might take you a few weeks getting on the schedule week in advance

Praise be and blessings to Dave. My wife and I are both 19 and just paid off our university tuition in advance totaling $387, 536.29. We are sophomores and are now debt free and saving up to buy a data center for our AI business

Baby Steps LFG!!

Dave is right the stealership is the most expensive place to have car work done typically. However, used engines aren't always available for your vehicle and purchasing a rebuilt engine from the manufacturer is sometimes necessary. But you can still have a trusted "shade tree" install it and potentially save some money.

I didn't had a dad growing up. Man, I so wish I would have been under uncle Dave wings. My life would have been 180 degrees different. 🙏🙏

I think some of the young people just need to go into the military, if they can. I spent 30 yrs is the Coast Guard, CWO3, and 30 yrs later it was the best decision I ever made when I was 19.

I love the other personalities, but the thing they are lacking is making people understand the weight of their past decisions and how pressing the changes they NEED TO make right now are. Dave makes people understand there is a FIRE in their house and they need to do everything they can to put it out. Dave just has a gift. It's not tough love. It's just love, and when people get off the call with him I know they have more hope than they did before. It's possible to get out of the mess, they just need to understand that there is no more playing around with the debt. No more eating out, no more vacations, no life. It's not a joke. Everything besides basic necessities is essentially being financed by debt, and everything (but the house if possible) should be cut and sold.

Rachel I loved your reaction to a shade tree mechanic!😂 My husband is one. Great advice about finding a used one and having a non dealership person install it.

I'm a Toyota Tech and when I do work at the house I charge 1/4 the price of a dealer. I bet she could get an engine for $400-700 and just guessing but someone like me would do it for about $500 so tops she be in it around $1200

By choice, I have two jobs. My second is cleaning houses...I thought that this job was going to be drudgery, can't wait to quit, I'm going to hate this job. I'm having fun and I really like the job. At this second job, there was a divorcee, whom I was helping to make beds. I was trying to tell her about Dave Ramsey. She gave me all kinds of excuses. I said, "Of course, out of all of the millions of people around the world who Dave Ramsey has helped, you're the only one in the world that he can't help"!
