This helped me to do this. Home theater AV receiver --> frontal main speakers --> LOC --> stereo amplifier --> One pair of speakers. Now I can use only one pair of main speakers for music and for movies and games. I don't see this solution very often. Thank you.

This is the only video I've seen that explains how the components work. Very helpful! Thanks!

Couldn't have timed this better. You guys have have saved me a lot of time. Please spare a few minutes for my complicated question but before that;

Amazing job done by the presenter explaining all the confusing things in layman term's. Was a Subscriber earlier but I tried subscribing again 😇✌

After countless hours of sleepless nights and hours of research with a tight budget, I wanted to have the best setup which suited my needs. Clear Full Range Music(EQ control) with Accurate BASS. Have bought a 840watt's Blaupunkt 4 channel GTA 470 Digital Sound Processor Amplifier, JBL CSX-1400BP 12" Subwoofer, PAC PDLC 21 Active 2 channel LOC, Surge F8 Flo True 8AWG 800W AMP wiring kit which is on its way. I'm hooking the the 2 channels of the Amp to the front speakers and the 2 bridged channels to the Sub.

Since I'm having a DSP Amplifier with various settings such as X-over control, Subsonic control, Phase control, Delay control etc. Does the front speaker signals give full range output i.e If I tap into the front speaker signals with the LOC, will I be able to achieve a full range surround sound system in my car with DSP control function working properly?

Was thinking about a 4 channel LOC but thought it would be useless since I'm using only 2 front channels of the amplifier for speaker and remaining 2 for a Sub. I can use the PAC PDLC21 with a low output gain settings since it can pump out 10V unlike a passive LOC and Adjust the gain in the Amplifier to adjust the Fader setting to achieve surround sound from a 2 channel LOC.

My stock HU is a 4 speaker outs with a stock 6 speaker(2 tweeters+4 mid speakers) setup. I'm planning to change my Stock front speakers too, Any suggestions for the type (and brand) of front speakers which will suit my setup?

Best LOC video I've found, extremely informative. Only one question remains for me: Is there a limit to the length of wire ran on either side of the LOC? Should the speaker level side be short and very close to the head unit, or should the low level side be short with the LOC closer to the amplifier? Is there a medium, or is it not important? I see how yours are setup and I'll mirror that for now. Thank you very much.

I have a 2016 Chevy Silverado. IV installed everything and it works but how do I adjust the radio to maximize quality and bass?. Turn bass up or down? And then turn gain up on amp?. Not much tuning options on factory radio, Thank you for your time

Did you run the remote wire on the loc to the amp directly or are you finding another 12v source to connect it to ?

Great video! I have 05' GMC Yukon Denali w/ the premium Bose system and scratching my head as to where I tap the yellow 12v power and blue remote turn on wire from my PAC LP6-2R LOC? Do I run them directly to my aftermarket amp or do i need to tap them into my corresponding factory wires?

Quick question I got the kicker version of this loc which has the remote wire. But my question is, is it OK to tap into the stock OEM subwoofer connection? Is it too much power for that little device or will it be OK? It’s the stock amp and subwoofer plug in the back of the mega cab behind the seats . Just because it’s easy to access is why I’m asking

I have a 2021 Nissan Sentra sv. I’m planning on replacing my speakers and adding a 4 channel amp. Will an LOC or the speaker harness cause any issues with phone calls or anything that goes through my speakers?

I have a 2016 Cadillac CTs vsport with Bose 13 premium speakers and factory amp my questions are what’s the best loc to use? I’ve tried the lc2i and keyloc on my old Cadillac ats when just adding a subwoofer, but if I wanted to change the door speakers and use a four channel amp, is there a way to bypass the factory amp or can I just replace the front speakers with some more high output speakers that I have, and keep the factory amp?

Thanks man, I have a question. I tapped in to my factory subwoofer but my PAC LP7-2 won’t play a beat. I’m guessing it doesn’t pick up those frequencies right? Should I upgrade to a LC2-I

U have several questions and cannot find a utube that is specific to it...

1 - Do I have to use the Power Yellow and the Remote Blue cable if my Amp already has it ? Meaning all I will need to connect is the Speaker wire.
2 - I have the PAC LP7-4 L.O.C. PRO Series 4-Channel device, I'm only going to tap in the rear speakers, so I will use 2 channel on the PAC, can I just twist the other two channels together ? Meaning I will use the White and Gray for the 2 channels, can I just twist the Green to the White and the Purple to the Gray for all 4 channels and then go all 4 channels to my amp RCA ?
3 - The the Gain on the PAC will only have the adjustment on one side which is the Right and Left Rear Or Front ? or would I need to adjust both Gains to the same ?

im planning on doing something like this on my 00 323i. My rear deck speakers are blown as of right now and im thinking of just using the wires from that, and putting an loc in my trunk with the rear deck speaker wires running to it. Then running rca to my amp. Do you think it would work?
