Im seeing a trend. Caitlin and AB are a force to be reckoned with. Clark and Mitchell are the most dominant back court in the league. Caitlin Clark and Lexie Hull are unstoppable. Fact is, this is exactly why Clark is the MVP. She is more critical to her teams success than Wilson is and the entire team structure goes through her. Wilson is a scorer where as CC plays the most demanding position on the court as a scorer and a distributor which makes EVERYONE on the team excel.

When a team has an elite playmaker like Clark the team plays at a faster pace where Clark continually finds the open player. Leading the league in assists as a rookie highlights the tremendous impact she has had to the Fever's success from bottom of the league to being a playoff team. To not put Clark in the top 5 of MVP prospects will be blown up by a potential deep run in the playoffs by the Fever. Clark has been in playoff pressure before and made it to NCAA finals twice without the most talented team.

Make no mistake, CC is not going to win games or change the WNBA by herself. Jordan, Bird, Magic all need each other. CC was not the Lone Ranger when she showed up, there were pros looking for a focus on court. CC is a leader by example. The teams talent was always there just needed impetus. CC has a gravitational pull that will not be denied. She is the spark that lights the big bang. This woman is a team player with talent to spare. Look at her interactions with the fans. The WNBA just hit the lottery.(if the fool management takes CARE of its assets)

The best thing about Clark joining the Fever is that it created an atmosphere where ALL of the players were given the opportunity to show just how good they ALL are.
