How to fix Assetto Corsa CPU Occupancy 99%

This will mainly work for those who normally are able to run the game with their current specs, as this is just the application not using your CPU properly. This is not a permanent fix. You will have to do this every time you get the CPU Occupancy 99% message.

to anybody reading this please note there is alot of nonsense tips and tricks out there, i recently changed my wheel from thrustmaster t300rs to a simmagic alpha and had the 99% occupancy even in practice mode with 0 opponents, this did the fix for it and hopefully it helps you too i dont want people to suffer having to sieve through crap videos looking for a fix. (Settings -> Assetto Corsa -> Controls -> Wheel -> Force Feedback -> FFB update rate in the lower left) it was initially 0 and adjusting it to 1 solved it.

I think it helped, but for it was mainly my steering wheel I had to put a custom number for the force feedback, so I think it was my wheel but this might helped aswell I think

Just a question, I have read that the game only uses two threads which are different than cores. Now I’m already getting the cpu problem in single player with 6 AI traffic on modded tracks but I want to do an online server on the same computer with AI and a friend or two on the same computer as well as I will be hooking up a dead wheel soon. So how much does this help distribute the cpu load?
