Spraymate Showdown: Lil Squirt vs Storm Backpack Sprayers

I'm just a plain guy who likes to do lawn work and wanted a backpack sprayer because they are fun (and effective). After watching tons of videos, I decided to go with Spraymate for their bang for the buck quality. I didn't however see much on the 1.3 Lil Squirt compared to the 2.5 gallon Storm so that's why I created this video!

Who Am I?
I guess I'm both a professor and dad if my name rings true ... and it does. These are two things that define much of my life and therefore I thought it was a feasible name to use. First and foremost, I'm a dad who thoroughly loves doing dad things with his son (he's currently 2 1/2 years old). My life drastically changed when he was born and definitely for the better. Along with doing good ole dad stuff, after purchasing a home last year, I've learned to do a lot of lawn and DIY home stuff. The YouTube channels sharing their experiences have been pivotal in learning the ropes and I thought I'd do my share and try to contribute as well. For the professor part, I'm a teacher and researcher in the area of Exercise Physiology at my university and I'm also looking forward to eventually sharing some tips/tricks regarding exercise, health, and how to be an overall awesomely strong dad (or mom)!

Thank you for this review. I was going back and forth on which of these to purchase. Your video is the only one I found on the smaller sizes. All the other reviews were on the 4 gallon model. I’m certain the 2.5 galling will give me what I need, thanks to your video.

I must be following in your footsteps. I too need a smaller sprayer and was seriously considering the Lil Squirt. And like you I try to do at least some homework before buying something that requires a fair chunk of change. Very appreciative of your video. I also agree with you that the Lil Squirt is overpriced and a big step down in design and quality. Too bad they don't make a Storm with just a smaller tank and maybe reduced options like a shoulder strap instead of a backpack, not as many nozzles, smaller battery, etc. I'll be going with the Storm over the Lil Squirt. Thanks again for the review. It kept me from buying the wrong sprayer.
