I was hoping you would put out a video before Christmas 2023 and you didn't fail.
I like your videos as they are not just you walking around and videoing yourself, but you put a lot of work into each video and a lot of this work is done in the background which we don't see.

I am a cycling snob, as I'm an ex road racer with a carbon fibre frame and top end Shimano gears. But that bike looks great fun and for the price it is brilliant !

Exposed cables are less likely to corrode.
When the muck and water gets into the sheathed section, it is held against the cable inside. That is where problems occur and maintenance is needed
The exposed cable bit can be easily wiped and oiled.
