I tried to record myself while working and it was a total waste of time, storage and energy...
Never hook up an LED without a Series Resistor.
This is also why your LED's don't all light up the same.
Use multi-turn pot next time, for more accuracy.

Post a Upgraded version and use a Bargraph.
It would be nice to also see this being put on a Perfo-board and / or proper PCB Design.

I mean, you could make something like:
- low level
- mid level
- high level

Battery level should be based on a capacity and sum all charges/discharges. Voltage based are very rough.

Hi! Lm3915 and lm 3916 is a logaritmic ic. Lm3914 is linear ic. Best regards.

You are using the wrong IC !!!! It makes one wonder if you really know what you are doing!

The lm3915 is for VU meters and uses a dB scale!
The LM3914 is LINEAR Display
