Cool! Looks like Grayson Perry was in charge of the Freewing paint shop! But well done for finding this rare and lovely little Spitfire! Persistence pays off...

Wonderful Martyn, with the amount of WW2 planes you have, you could conduct your own Battle of Britain scenario over the Flying club.
Looking fwd to the flight.

You can definitely say that this one has racked up some air miles going back and forth :).
AirHammer out!!

Looks great Martyn and I’m sure you can work your magic again to get the minor issues sorted out. I’d leave the paint scheme as it is as it’s just that little bit different. Great find 👍🏻

sounds like EU customs is still a bit ticked about Britxit going through martyn! probably not happy about the increased work load! looking at the transmitter in the manual this one has got to at least as old if not older than sharky is!! and that picture with the transmitter, that drives me nuts when they do that! if it doesn't come with something don't put it in the pictures!! i think the weight was under that piece that came off under the back of the wing mounting point! hopefully the speed controller and motor are still good going by sharky's controller acting up like it did!! i'd call that a dark metallic copper more than a gold!
