Road2Nurburgring - Classic Remise & Louwman Museum - Episode 5

Follow me, in this 5 part series, as I dart around Germany & Netherlands on a 10 day lightning tour of some of the lesser known Automotive Enthusiast locations, on our way to the famous Nurburgring, and beyond. Watch as I discover classic car museums, festivals, karting tracks, whacky car themed hotels, and race tracks.

In this Episode (5) of the 'Road 2 Nurburgring' we start our day in Dusseldorf and discover the hidden treasures at Classic Remise - a classic car museum, nestled in an old Railway Roundhouse. Then we jump on a train and pop over the boarder to the Netherlands where we find the oldest private car collection at the Louwman Museum.

Classic Remise - I reckon I could spend a whole day (most likely more) there, what a great looking venue too. The collection is outstanding, the sky blue/orange colours I saw of the Gulf (or Martini?) cars really brought back memories.
And then Louwman, another dimension! I think George Lucas must have been inspired by that Ital Corsa (Star Wars Ep1 Ani's racer minus the red bull colours). I loved the yellow Jag/Jensen car around 11:37
