The first image of seeing Gibson Les Paul Gold Top is still vivid to me✨My brother Al played live show after watching couple of 80’s thrash metal hits and then we saw Slash was playing Godfather by his LP Gold Top. It was extremely stunning to me as a thrashhead and I meant to be a drummer but, it was hard to not watch that live show everyday and imagine if I could play such a masterpiece one day like Slash and btw what the heck is that guitar?! It’s so damn special!
18,20 years after, when I know myself as a LP guy, once my bae Sara told me “why you don’t have one gold top?! You’re a LP player and at least you must have one!” So, then it stuck in my mind⚡️last month, a few days before my birthday we saw a Gibson Tribute Gold Top at music store before my gig at May 31. I and Sara perfectly understood it has to come with us to its new home.
Last thing I remember is playing Godfather theme on and on with Goldie⚡️it’s going to be amazing journey✨
