Tried learning this song with a friend on bass and guitar. It ended up being way more complicated than we thought, each section of the song is slightly different from the next, and it has a fairly unique structure. It's extremely well composed and is just a perfect tune throughout. Their best work, in my opinion. So glad you made a video on it!

Never knew what it was called, but the polyphony is the best part of the song; always makes me dance.

I usually pair polyphony with the ending of “The Pretender” where they take two parts of the melody and it fits perfectly

That's why I love that song. A big hug from Rio de Janeiro.

The end of the pretender by foo fighters is another example of polyphony

Hozier uses polyphony in “Sedated” at the end and it is magical

The Thompson submachine gun (also known as the "Tommy Gun", "Chicago Typewriter", "Chicago Piano", “Trench Sweeper” or "Trench Broom") is a blowback-operated, air-cooled, magazine-fed selective-fire submachine gun, invented by United States Army Brigadier general John T. Thompson in 1918. It was originally designed to break the stalemate of trench warfare of World War I, but was not finished until after the war ended.
