This video shows a simple way to split a body that is too long to print so it can be printed in two pieces and glued together. It is simple with only one pin. If the end product needs to be perfect, least two pins and corresponding cavities should be made.

awesome thank you. another tip to make it even quicker: instead of sketching diagonal lines to find center, just go to Construct > Point at center of circle/vertex (towards bottom)

Maybe do a dry run of the tutorial before recording so you know what you are doing first rather than loads of pauses and 'erms'. Otherwise fine.

Isn't there a way to get 1 body to subtract from another.. so you wouldn't have to do the 2nd circle, but instead, tell it to cut from the other body, you could make much more complex connectors this way and reduce the work by 50%

I can’t get the plane to show up. When I select origin, I only can show XYXZNYZ but I can’t get just a Z plane to show up. Can you help me?
