Poilievre calls Carney cabinet the same as Trudeau's but with 'cosmetic surgery' | FULL

On Friday, Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre wished former prime minister Justin Trudeau well in his "retirement" and congratulated Canada's new Prime Minister Mark Carney, referring to him as "Mr. Trudeau's economic advisor."

He pointed out that all current cabinet members were part of Trudeau’s caucus, asserting that "the same people who ran Justin Trudeau are now running Mark Carney."

"Mark Carney thinks Canadians are stupid," Poilievre accused, arguing that the Liberals were attempting to mask their past with "a little bit of cosmetic surgery."

Carney reveal 23 cabinet ministers on Friday – a much smaller group than Trudeau’s cabinet, which had 39 members, including him.

I am so very disappointed.
I really need to hear a team Canada approach of solidarity from our leaders right now and its very disappointing to see that Pierre is choosing to continue down this road of bickering about the faults of other team members.

For the last two years Mr. Poilievre's has been using the Trump playbook. That means demonizing your opposition with sarcasm, slurs, distortions, and constant insults while declaring that the country is broken. Now that Trump has ticked off every other Canadian, Pierre can't think of anything else to do. He may try to change his Trumpy stripes, but it's too late for that.
