Loreen made it all the way to the final and won the hearts of both viewers and the jury. At the final of Melodifestivalen 2023 she was the super favourite to win. And she won!

Loreen represented Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest 2023 in Liverpool, UK, where she did magic. Loreen became historical as the first woman to win ESC two times and she won the Eurovision trophy and took Eurovision to Sweden again.

First of all, loving the new intro!!
Really great job as always. And as @Ronkesc mentioned with your move at 2:30... that's impressive! I guess it takes years of knowhow, co-op with other cam ops and many many rehearsals to know your exact cue for the fade into your zoom out at 2:37 – very satisfying!
What lenses have you got on these units? Great closeups.
Also, one of my favourite shots that always seems to come up at Melfest: the runpast and zoom out as seen at 2:58. In previous years I've seen a variation of this at high speed behind the first few rows of audience seating right at the front, and it cuts so beautifully in between shots.

You all did such a fantastic job: Tomas, Niclas, all the other cameramen, The Melodifestivalen team and of course the genius director Robin Hofwander👏 (and Loreen!) - You made it look so dynamic and flawless and it was quite challenging for The BBC to recreate it in Liverpool.

I was just wondering at 2:27 why didn't you move right after your shot on stage to get your next shot ready with the upper LED and did it just in the last second(s), it doesn't look like you could have been seen in the other shots so why did you enter into your position only after a few shots? it looks like your shot was ready really right in the last second when the fade begins. I don't know how you do it so quickly when it's a shot in a very specific movement that you need to film and you also need to start the movement before the fade begins, that is just perfection on another level. I'm speechless. But I guess you'll probably say you had plenty of time like you always say 😃. Too bad you don't show us your steadicam screen to see how it looked on your side between the shots. Would have loved to see more of your work and how it was done.
