Cars damaged and swept by flood in Langkawi

A car was swept into the river, and several other vehicles parked near the Langkawi Cable Car attraction in Langkawi, Kedah, were damaged by strong currents from a flash flood following a heavy downpour on Friday (Aug 23) afternoon.

I thought Meteorology Dept should have the access of comprehensive weather forecast & public precautionary system if not necessarily comparable to those countries who used for typhoon and earthquake... Wages get raised for nothing. Everyone waiting fate to come.
