You did a good job of showing this product's biggest weakness: it doesn't work if there is already some light in the vicinity.

I love Cathys kitchen tiles. So lovely, comfy & grand looking .Very homely looking also. I just realised there's a difference in homely. Here in the UK, homely means beautiful

Those shirts are wonderful! A lot of the schools in the bigger cities in Massachusetts actually offer free breakfast and lunch to ALL students. In my opinion this is how it should be in every school. Great review as always ladies, y’all made my night🙃

I think it was for a different, but similar product where they show it being used at the base of the bed so when you wake in the middle of the night and take that first step, you can see your way. To me, this would one of its ideal applications. Great job, ladies.

I ended up getting 3 pairs of the lights with the switch and absolutely love them. I have them in all my very deep corner cupboards (top and bottom) so that I can see my cleaning supplies, canned goods, etc. I don't think the Motion bright would be bright enough for most of the cupboards and I don't think it stays on long enough to be of much use either.

Great review! I think the light sensor feature is probably for battery conservation, with the intent that you can set it, e.g. as a staircase night-light, & not have to worry about it going on & eating power every time you go past during the day - whereas in a cupboard it’ll turn on whenever you open the door as it’s always dark inside. If so, the sensitivity needs tweaking, or at home you could cover the sensor with brown/tinted sticky-tape, or scribble over it with permanent marker to trick it into turning on. Whether the light sensor’s a pro or con depends on what you want the light for - & I think you did a great job of going through the different uses & looking at when the motion or switch version would be better suited.

Also, if you’re still needing better lighting for filming: customisable/variable light panels have gotten really cheap (~$30-40) on amazon recently - one I saw that looked good (or at least worked well for Adam Savage, he did a ‘One Day Build’ video turning it into a lamp a couple of weeks ago) is called the “VILTROX L116T RA CRI95 Super Slim LED Light Panel” (I didn’t want to put a link in case it got mistaken as spam). The most useful feature is that you can change both the brightness & temperature of the light, while the 2 potential downsides are that it’s primarily battery powered (you can get a power cord, but bought separately/elsewhere) & it’s meant for a tripod - maybe there are mounting adapters you can get, I imagine there must be, or at least cheap tripods. I only saw that one ‘cos of Adam’s video, but there’s apparently a whole bunch of different brands making them now, so there’s gotta be other models that might suit your setup better. Or at least come with power cables in the box :D

You're both Intelligent BEAUTIFUL Ladies and appreciate all your reviews. The lights should have a hook, magnet and more LED too for anything needed for use

I picked up similar motion lights from Harbor Freight, super cheap. All my outside motion lights are solar powered. No batteries to buy. Inside a garage you can hang an LED at the rear, and it would turn on when you either pulled your vehicle in, or walked in. Cathy seems to have adequate lighting in her kitchen. Would a light be necessary in the cabinets? I agree, maybe this would work as a night light, perhaps in a hallway or a bathroom. But what about battery life? Is it worth the price you pay for batteries, in the long run? Nice review, ladies.

Admit it, For a part of that video, you were checking out Cathy's home furnishings and cleanliness (like that could even remotely be called into question). You KNOW you were!!!

im getting older and need more light to see to read the cookbooks so under the cabinets would be nice and it has to be brighter like the switch on one. i can see it being used in a toolbox or tackle box and if there was a way to hang it under the car hood or trunk would be nice, maybe glue some magnets to it so it could stick to the car anywhere you need a light. how long did the batteries last with continued use? you dont want the batteries going dead in the middle of a tire change.
