She’s so beautiful! Since I became an uncle of 49 baby spiderlings I’ve been absolutely in love with spiders.
I’ve always protected them but now I’m on a whole other level. I see the beauty and all the little personalities that all living things have. I just didn’t know it existed on such a small

It's not a spider, it is called a Tailless Whip Scorpion :)

These guys actually make awesome pets. Unlike tarantulas and scorpions they can't bite or sting you, they can move fast but rarely do. I'd highly suggest getting one if you like bugs but don't want to worry about being on the receiving end of a stinger or fangs.

My Salmon Pink Bird Eating Tarantula molted last night! When I got it back in January, it was just a little bigger than the head of a pin. It buried itself and stayed hidden for months. The only way that I knew that it was still alive was because the crickets kept disappearing. Then, one day it was out in the open and huge compared to what it once was!

I put it in a bigger terrarium and this time it made it's lair in the corner of the tank, so I can see it all of the time now! It seems to prefer molting underground, and after a few days, it'll drag its old skin to the surface. This is my first Tarantula and I love this little guy!

The spider is called a whip scorpion and it’s the only spider with claws (that we know of)
