Very useful video, Lyn. Yes, I’m one of those that cover my offsets to get them to root faster because our humidity here is always under 10%. When I leave them out, many shrivel up even before they root. Thank you Lyn for all the learnings. 🙂👍🏼

You're outro was simply hilarious! I love it!

As a new cacti-owner, I have two different types of cacti I brought back from Surprise, Arizona.. from my mother's garden. I am off to transplant them now! Any tips for cacti owners in Northern regions? I live in Michigan.. I am thinking I will need supplemental lighting, possibly heat through our winters. Can anyone in my same climate help me out with a few tips?

Great video Lyn!!! Echinopsis are fun to propagate cause they are so easy!! There is rarely any chance for failure, and they grow so quickly!!! Believe it or not, my lophos were started from mature cut tops I bought from a guy I knew in high school. Of course I knew what he was going to do with them. At least I saved a couple of their lives and still have them today!! The parents of your little babies!!! But they were relatively easy to start. I just set them on top of some sand and misted them daily. And in a few weeks they put out roots! And lived happily ever after!! Of course I've never tried to take any pups off them since because I like them to put out as many as possible to make a nice showie cluster!!! Thanks for sharing this video Lyn!!! From Morris park in the Ozarks to across the Emerald Isle, have a great Peace, Love, Plants!!!✌💖🌵🌹🌴🌷🌿🌸🌻🍀🌺

Hi Lyn, great tips as usual . First time I've seen you wearing gloves 😂😂😂😂. I've started repotting and taking cuttings, Spring and Autumn are the best seasonshere in Brisbane. No humidity in Summer the humidity is awful. Have a great weekend, sending you and Hans lots of love from Downunder and plenty of plant power .stay safe guys .🌵🌵🌵⚘😗👍👊

Great video Lyn. I do like the clumping look but there does come a point when it’s time to remove some. Not sure if it’s true that if you let them clump they are less likely to flower, as you say I’ve seen huge clumps with tons of flowers too. Maybe some types like the Matucana polzii it’s true because they form pups all over them rather than around the base, if an areole is occupied with a pup then that will prevent a flower bud from forming on that particular areole. Thank you for sharing with us as always Lyn, from Edith & myself to you and Hans, have a wonderful evening and weekend 😊❤️🌵☀️🌺🌼🏜
