It is important to note that this man is a legend. His career started wayyyy before "Despacito".

Can I just say, I loved this interview. Jimmy is the only one I've seen so far not treat Luis like he's a one hit wonder. I saw the Today show interview Luis did and I hated it so much because those interviewers were just over the top and not educated on how amazing this man and his music is. I've been a fan of Luis Fonsi since I was 16. Almost 10 years. I fell in love with his voice when he was in the We Are the World Spanish music video, and then found his beautiful songs right after. No Me Doy Por Vencido being that first song. Guys he's more than just Despacito. His voice and songs of love and heartbreak are not to be dismissed 😍🖤

Despacito sounds great even with joke lyrics! What a miraculous combination of music! I’m a 65 year old man that has become addicted to all of Fonsi’s music. Starting with Despacito, then moving forward with calypso, Echame la Culpa, impossible. This addiction has brought me backwards to all of Fonsi’s music. This guy is blessed with talent and the talent to also sing with other great artists! I love you Fonsi, Everybody does! Ray O’Mara Poughkeepsie New York

First heard of him because I had this christina aguilera's spanish album when I was a kid and there's this song si no te hubiera conocido it was a beautiful song, it's a duet with luis fonsi.

How Humble Luis Fonsi is first he says thank you for visiting the island. Then mentions JB and the crew that he grew up with. You see we Latinos can tell you ... It's more fun at the top when we bring everyone that took us there. We never forget. We'll never forget that NBC did The Tonight show from Puerto Rico. Very iconic thank you Jimmy Fallon, thank you The Roots and Thank you NBC.
