Sounds like this man has been drinking the coolant

The shop I currently am employed at uses Synergy 735 and it is definitely better than the others I have worked with in the past. It is easier to see through and less likely to cause skin irritation. It seems to hold up well to constant use. The only downside I have noticed is the tools can stick in the spindle when the machines sit for a day or so, but otherwise a very good coolant.

Either he's dealing the stuff, or he just got done seeing his dealer

Blaser also doesnt want to sell to anyone that needs less that multiple barrels a month. So if you want to try their stuff, you better be a decent sized operation otherwise youll get the middle finger.

It Sucks with a capital S.
Works great in Ti or SS. But not in aluminum
I had to slow drills and taps down in aluminum.
And it puts out an obnoxious gas when your plowing Ti Or SS. Off.
Could not get rid of it fast enough.
I have hatred for that stuff.
Been cutting for 49 years.

We check PH levels, concentrations with a refractometer, and have dedicated coolers to keep the coolant happy.

My company just.does coolant services. Im at a major aerospace company everyday and i keep all of their machines happy. And we save them a lot of money by recycling the coolant and reducing the waste

I’ve worked in 3 big shops and never seen that much coolant available. Kind of insane.

The idiots at my last shop dumped coffee and their snuff spit into the coolant. They would let enough debris build up till it took a fork to drag the pans out. Place smelled like something out of the old testament in the summer.

Skin irritation that comes with the switch is a bit rough but you get used to it I guess

I wanted to give this a shot in our new lathe but I haven't heard good things about 735. Rust issues and worse tool life than the Blaser swisslube we use now.

Pretty cool microscopic view, what camera system did you use to obtain this close up?

We used Ometa for a short time. Supposed to do the same thing but it was absolute garbage. The coolant turned dark grey and freakin' stank. I don't know anything about this stuff, but based on past experience, I'm thinking it's bs.
