This is 4.5 quart stand mixer it is one of the famous mixer for home use or starter. It is also offers the capacity to make 9 dozens cookies in a single batch and 10 speeds to thoroughly mix, knead and whip ingredients quickly and easily.

If that was on stir when you were mixing the butter it's going way too fast. The finger that the paddle is attached to should come around once every second
