Thanks for this lovely video. I am looking forward to going to Skye in June. I went for a half day over 20 years ago. The bridge was a toll bridge then and we came back on the short 5 minute ferry from Kylerhea.

4:19 goodness, what happened in Soctland? I visited the Isle of Skye in 1998, before the times of social media and internet. I read the Gabaldon books then, and without knowing much in advance, just with my imagination, I travelled the Isle with a friend. It is one of my dearest travel memories, it was a real addventure - back then! And you know what was wonderful back then? Not tons of people in the beautiful green, it was just a few really interested people who back then had to read books and be really interested in a certain place and then plan a trip and go there. Now it's totally overrun like pretty much everything that is advertised on the net. Awful sight for me, looks ridiculous seeing so many people like ants, just crowding and taking pics for instagram to being in such remote places.
