Church Wellesley Village residents report spike in violence

Residents in the Church and Wellesley neighbourhood are reporting a spike in violence since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Tina Yazdani looks at what’s behind the incidents that have some community members afraid to leave their homes.

I’m not understanding why our city counsellors don’t announce homelessness in the city is an emergency, you allow injections near by and let them wonder while they are high

There are so many dogs that can be rescued so everyone can feel safe that is what people should do.

Toronto was always a very bigotted city. When the times get tough, their bigotry gets amplified. I lived in that dump for 7 years before going back to Quebec. We have nothing like that here. I live 45 miles from Montreal. I have taken a bus from here to Montreal dozens of times and there has never ever been problems. Toronto is the country's most hated city.
