You’re so beautiful and resilient! When I was 12 I ended up staying for a month in my states children’s hospital, basically on the brink of death for the first 2 weeks? They didn’t know what was wrong with me, I kept having new medical emergencies that ended up requiring me to have multiple surgeries. That left me permanently disabled after I was diagnosed with a severe autoimmune disorder. I’m almost 40 now and in the last year and few months alone, I’ve had 9 surgeries. My body is covered in big scars. Ones that as a 12-13 year old girl, left me feeling like my body was “ugly” and no one was ever gonna want me? But my mother started telling me that, the scars on my body were just proof that something tried to kill me but I was stronger. That I was braver and better able to get back up and keep going despite what tried to knock me down. I feel like you’re a shining example of what my mother used to tell me about my scars! ❤
