I have watched Darts since the 80s and had fallen away as it wasn't on free TV but Luke at the World Championships has got me back into it and I watch it on You Tube, amazing player.

I think it's great that Luke is getting all this publicity, it's doing great things for darts. But I can't help but agree with the things Aspinall said in an interview with Luke being more of a celebrity than a darts player (in terms of how viral he is getting).

For example, Sky Sports and BBC Sports only post about Darts when Littler is playing, there's no mention of any other dart player, I don't think they even acknowledged Price hitting a nine darter a few weeks ago in the Premier League.

While it's great Luke is getting this attention, it's obvious these channels are only interested in him because he's a young lad. As a dart fan myself, you can't just post about a sport focusing on one player and then not bother to advertise it anymore when Luke loses, it shows tremendous bias.

Give it 3-4 years when he hits his 20's and they'll lay off him.
