I have been watching Easy German for some months now. And this is the first time that I can understand without referencing the subtitles! I still remember when at first, the german line doesn't make sense at all; and then, I had to pause for every sentence to check the meaning of most words; then being able to read the german subtitles without pausing. I feel like Easy German had really witnessed and helped my growth in German! Thank you for your effort!

I’m from the Philippines and there are a number of things I like about Germany. I like the public transportation, cleanliness, orderliness, food, parks, forests, playgrounds, safety or security, the job center financial assistance when you’re just starting your life here in germany and still learning the language, the health care and the overall quality of life. Its a blessing to live here and oh I like it that people greet each other in groceries or when you’re just out for a walk.

Ich schaue mir eure Videos sehr gern an. Ich bin Diplom-Geologe und habe an der aeltesten Bergbau-Uni der Welt, TU Bergakdemie Freiberg/Sa. studiert. Die Systematik und die Puenklichkeit habe ich in Deutschland gelernt. Die deutsche Sprache ist sehr interessant und diszipliniert. Eure Methode finde ich sehr toll. Macht weiter so! Ich liebe die deutsche Kultur, die Natur und die Leute. Die deutsche Menschen sind so organisiert und ich finde es sehr gut! Die Verkehrsmittel sind schnell und sehr pünktlich, wie auch die Menschen. Das finde ich wunderbar! Ich bin Deutschlehrerin in Brasilien und unterrichte Deutsch als Fremsprache für Kinder und deswegen finde ich diese Kultur so interessant! Ich stimme Menschen zu, die deutsche Sprache genauso schön ist. Sie ist natürlich nicht einfach, aber ich würde sagen, dass sie logisch ist. Das ist wirklich schön! Ich hoffe, dass ich bald nach Deutschland wieder fliegen kann.

I think the German markets and festivals are my most favorite about Germany. It’s a part of my childhood.

I love Germany for the obvious things like the beer and bread, but I think the thing I like the most is how nice the people are. Not necessarily nice on the surface, but it's a deeper, genuine kindness once people get to know you. I also love how everyone goes outside in their gardens on Sundays or watches a soccer game with their friends. Germans know how to take time off and enjoy it, unlike us Americans! :)

As an Italian, about Germany
I like: people are generally respectful, discrete and don't judge others; big cities in Germany are very international and entertaining; lot of green areas and countryside; germans usually have a lot of free time (lot of vacation and not such a stressful work routine as in the US, for example); bureaucracy, public transportation, health and educative system work well and are accessible to everyone.

I don't like: summer weather (I mean only 2 weeks with temperature above 20°C is too little); beside some delicious German classic (beer, bread, schnitzel, knodel, etc.) food is not the best; although very nice, people are somewhat cold and not always friendly and it takes time and effort to get close to them.

Thank you, your lessons are the best out of all presented on YouTube. I learned some German in school back in Poland and my grandmother used to talk to me in German as she was born there. Speaking German was my passion and I was good at it in school 😍 I was the only companion for my grandmother to talk in German.... but as I left aboard I lost contact with the language.
