Bro everytime i enter a highway (i live in France btw) i put my foot the floor to gain speed as quickly as possible to not disturb any truck who's coming, Nice driving man.

I believe in Germany you can make yourself liable if you do this. You have to let someone pass and are not allowed to hinder someone from overtaking. I mean nobody will ever get caught for this tho.

I'm a truck driver and this happens often to me or I get cut off brake checked and some wild stuff. I don't know why people are so hilarious dumb. I once had a situation where a woman in front of me was driving much too slowly. I honked briefly to make her aware that she should at least stick to the recommended speed. But instead of accelerating, she slammed on the brakes. Luckily I came to a stop 5 centimeters behind her. FYI we were on a main road. She got out and said very cheekily: what are you thinking of honking at me?!
To that I just replied: if I hadn't braked you would be dead by now. I called the police and they took the nice lady away straight away.

I pull this “stunt” because the left lane is the passing lane and I don’t like being behind a block of steel that I can’t see or get an idea of what’s in front of it.

I had one time where my driver side window was shaddert so i did max 80 km/h on the motorway where i was overtaken by many trucks but every time i slowed down a bit and tappet the high beam to let them know they were in front of me and they thanked me for it

This happens a lot to me and I don’t drive a truck.

I drive with cruise control and I absolutely hate it when someone without cruise control is in front of me driving roughly the same speed, because they speed varies noticeably. When I then try to overtake, they accelerate.

Or they overtake me and are then driving slower then me.

The weirdest thing that happened to me was me driving with cruise control when a car passed me. But they slowed down while passing and drove for 30 seconds with the exact same speed as me. They oscillated a bit forwards and backwards, but we were pretty much exactly side by side. It is not my fault, I drove the same speed the whole time because I used cruise control.
Why do people do this, it’s really annoying

I don’t know how it is there but in the USA that’s completely legal, in fact I was taught in drivers education that you should not stay beside a Semi truck because they cannot see you.

I get more pissed when i get stuck behind two other trucks especially when going downhill trying to build speed before an uphill and one of them wont get tf out my way
