Tbh - I was looking forward to it but after having a lot of trouble installing it hrs later it finally worked. I've used some samples which I directly sampled from my record player and used the stem separation. I think the sound quality isn't as good as expected. The vocals sound kinda strange and not clear enough to use it. And of course I'm also annoyed by the fact it's not available for standalone yet. I don't use the MPC software and I don't want to.

I love the idea but I atm I'm not very happy with the sound-results. I rather sample the old fashioned way until it sounds better tho...

Being able to use stems on standalone was the only reason I wasn't going to buy an sp404 mk2. I guess I will now.

I use Audacity for this. But yep, thats not for the standalone Akai MPC.

😂😂😂 A new era in sampling. 2 years after the $5 sampling app Koala had stem separation. Stems is as much a legacy effect as MPC 60 mode. 😂
