I want to say a sidenote. Not all people 'dump their parents' in nursing homes, because they dont want to take care of them. I live in the Netherlands and most people don't have the space to take their parents in. The houses here are pretty small and when you have kids, the house is usually full. And also there are a lot of people who don't have the money or space in their garden to build an extension. Or the time to take care of their parents when they both have a job. It is a privelege when you can take your parents in your house. I am very happy you guys can do this for grandma. I wish you all the best. 🙂 Irma from the Netherlands

We bought a house with a big side extension and made it into a self contained annexe for my mum. She was at that time 75 and very active and able. Later in her 90’s she went downhill and had so many falls. It made both our lives so easy being in the same house. You are a beautiful person doing this ❤

Cute bedroom! It’s wonderful that you and the family can have grandma with you. I agree with nursing homes I worked in a care facility as a CNA it made me sad to see certain patients that family just dropped off and never came back but maybe once a year. So to instill the values of “we take care of family” to your children is wonderful. But also having boundaries for you and Bobby🐰🌼🌸 happy Easter 🐰🐣 enjoy the day

Cambreia, Freya’s room turned out great looks so nice ! You are absolutely correct not having to give up your master bedroom for Bobby’s grandmother. To begin with you are 2 sharing that room and as you stated your marriage relationship comes 1st. It will all work out in the end and you will all be happy !

The room turned out so great! It's important to always put your marriage first! that's what my husband and I did! We were married for 30 amazing years! We would be married for 33 years now, but he passed away three years ago from cancer, it's going to be amazing having grandma live with you❤

I seen the video of Bobby moving grandma. It made me cry. It brought back so many good memories of moving my grandma with me. My grandma passed last month. I actually didn’t think the video would have hit me so hard. I’m so freaking happy for you and the family. Your family is gonna benefit from having her with you. Your house is perfect for her. She is surrounded by those who love her and the kids are going to love her soo much. The things you said about nursing homes etc here I am crying again. You are 100% correct. Also that you let your kids be kids and not a mini version of yourself. You see that a lot nowadays and i think kids need to learn to be there own version.
