The AR-15 is not a super high power weapon. It’s a flat shooter. What you point at it will hit up to 500 meters. Small small bullet. Yes I’m a MARINE. Use an AR-15 in battle you die. Nothing less than the full on automatic version M-16A2. So no…the AR-15 is NOT an “assault weapon”. An “assault weapon” must have full on automatic capability. The AR-15 is a SEMI-automatic weapon. Not for battle.
