Want a modern optical wah, but still want to nail those cocked-wah tones? Then you’ll appreciate the Morley 20/20 Wah Lock. This wah-wah pedal eschews scratchy pots for a whisper-quiet switchless design, and packs it into a pedalboard-friendly version that’s a fraction of the size of Morley’s classic-sized pedals. Standard and Whoa modes achieve everything from subtle texturizing to full-on vocal-like effects, while Wah Lock mode enables you to use the pedal as an adjustable filter. And If you want your wah-drenched solos to rise above the fray, the 20/20 Wah Lock will do it, courtesy of its built-in +20dB boost.

I bought this pedal from Sweetwater - arrived yesterday. Ive been playing around with it and overall Im very pleased. Of course I don't play as well as Donn Carr but the pedal sure is nice, highly recommend.

I love the lower end of the wah spectrum that the Whoa feature provides. Don, I love your videos. I saw you with ORB in Branson years ago. Great show!

07/05/2020: I am trying to decide between two Morley pedals. They are both the same price. The 20-20 lock pedal and the Bad Horsey pedal. My question is: Do they sound the same, and the lock pedal just has more flexibility?

That's cool but what morley really needs is a rackmounted wah system for playerswho run midi controlled rigs and krep all their effectsin a rack and run througha wireless. Dunlop has one why not morley?

So, it's basically the Dragon Mini without the graphics?

Which mode was used in the outro riff? It sounded fantastic.

Anyone considering this pedal; don't let this half-assed demo be your guide. It's by far the most versatile of midrange wah's. They don't really cover Whoa mode much here, & his playing doesn't really highlight how much fun & how versatile it is. If you like tone shaping w/wah, then you will love the vocal quality of the woah. When you find the sweet spot, you can keep your notes nearly as round as our mouths can, & that's saying something when you're trying to speak w/ your instrument. Holy shit, that's the worst pun ever! It's actually 2 puns in one; I'm so sorry, & it's so bad I'm forced to leave it, but I think you get the idea. Buy this thing; it's not that much more expensive than the usual suspects (I even got mine for $149, when it's usually $169), & the "mini" size, leaves the tread at 7"s which is perfect tbh; the OG Morley's always seemed oversized.

I feel like this is the same thing as the George Lynch wah. Love the pedal though.

I had the original decades ago. Loved it more than the crybaby.

How do these compare in SIZE to the original Morleys and a Crybaby series?

Is it a wah where it automatically goes down into the off position without you forcing it to?

If only it wasn't a low quality POS. I was so excited about this wah, but mine was literally broken right out of the box. The wah lock is stuck in the on position. Click the switch all you want, light and effect never turn off.
