Comparing Premier Inn hotels standard room vs their Premier Plus room. I also test out the TVs in both rooms and also compare their free WiFi vs their Ultimate WiFi, which is free with Plus rooms, or an additional cost for those in a standard room.

I stayed in a premier in behind the London eye and it had the same tv you showed in the first room. I’m pretty sure they are Alibaba tv’s that they buy in bulk for cheap. Couldn’t find any info on the tvs until I did some searching around Ali express and found the exact ones there.

I often stay in Premier Inn and usually the Standard room has air con as standard. Some Premier Inns simply don't have air con. I think the Plus room is only worth going for if you want a fridge! Other than that, there's no point IMO.

I work for premier inn and that first room the remot control is the wrong one for that tv the wifi is appalling throught the hole estate but they are looking at changing from virgin media to i belive its going to be sky one of the hotels in oxford are trying it out before they run it throught the estate but the curtains there is no excuse for that they have spair in all hotels

I Stay in premier inn's 2 or 3 times a week with my job, I stay all over the south west and south Wales, I have to say most I stay in are really Grubby !! the rip in your curtain was just an example of what to expect in these dirty sometimes filthy rooms. complaining usually gets you no where ! they charge a lot of money & just as you pointed out the rooms are either hot or really uncomfortable to sleep in I would most definitely NOT recommend staying in these grubby rooms. wifi is awful and most of the time you can't even get a signal on your phone ! ! I was even given a room key & when I got in there - there was already some 1 in the room ...OMG How embarrassing ! ! ! Stay away from premier inn's where possible .

air con is obv a big deal and really.. they shouldn't be using it as an upgrade option.. ; making their standard room unbearable to encourage people to upgrade isn't a viable business model. lol

Terrible video. Never once showed the whole room in one view. Bunch of close-ups of things nobody needs to know. Who cares about how thin the TV is.
