Sir my question is that in your defition all those parts which are having some relative motion with respect to some other parts are kinematic links. But in the eg. of ceiling fan you are telling there are two connecting links 1. Rotor along with all blades, 2. Rod fixing the rotor. But when rotor along with all blades has rotational motion with respect to rod, rod itself has no relative motion, then how the rod has become kinematic link?
