I've made relief cuts on wood before, but I never thought I'd make them on a cantaloupe. But, hey, it works! Thanks for the tip! Cutting an entire cataloupe into cubes is more work than simply slicing it into four large, equal pieces and wrapping them with Saran wrap to eat later, but with cubes I can essentially eat equal amounts for the entire week instead of four large pieces just for Mon-Thurs. And now I don't have to buy another second cantaloupe for Fri, Sat and Sun. So now I'm cost-saving, too! $4 per week x 52 weeks is a savings of over $200! Woo hoo!
