People on leaving Indian panel really haven’t done any solid research. The way they represented the side was just so causal! Like there’s nothing better to do in India.

Correction*
(I am the guy in the middle)

As per the National Crime Records Bureau, every 20 minutes, a woman is raped somewhere in India.
Moreover, the crimes against women have increased by 7.1% nationwide since 2010, and child rape cases have increased by 336% in the last 10 years. Not to mention that countless number of cases that goes unreported.

This is such an interesting topic! I just wish that the leave India panel would have been more vocal and had done some research. Leaving India has it's downsides but the case could've been fought in a much stronger way :)

But
Women saftey point
People need to know that in India Laws are such screwed that even attempting to ask women for sex could be termed under SHWW 2013 act
Women in India are unsafe agreed
But the Laws aren’t helping

Incidents can happen at any place any time... you can throw garbage on the road, split at any place....but at the end I Love to live in India ❤️

1. You can’t go by statistics in India, you can pay anyone and they will NOT register the crimes.
2. As someone who lives in US and who traveled solo to India, trust me US is far safer. You can’t be from Mumbai and say rest of India is safe because I feel safe.
3. Just so you know, you need to follow proper protocols in order to arrest someone abroad, you can’t just pay a cop and get someone arrested by falsely accusing them.
4. I am used to keeping my phone in my pocket, jacket pocket and nothing ever got stolen in any public spaces here, but in India I just took my hand out from my jacket for just 3 secs and the phone was gone.
5. Work life balance is not so good in India, you have to work for more than 10 hours a day and 6-7 days a week, plus you are questioned for taking time off.
6. You can have community here, and if it’s non-Indian community then you don’t have to worry about people meddling in your personal business or question you for living the life you want to. US is a country of immigrants, you find diversity here so much.
7. Who are you kidding if you are saying that you’ll say sorry and get to leave? If there are accidents, the first thing people do is yell, scream, start beating you in india, and let’s not forget the constant honking.
8. The girl in yellow keeps bringing up Canada environment, she forgets there are other countries other than Canada, and we have all kinds of weather, not just snow all the time.
9. Yes, medical expenses are expensive in US, but they have bed side manners here, they don’t treat patients like crap.
10. No, NRIs are anti national, they just want a relaxed life, and staying in India doesn’t guarantee them jobs or a good lifestyle. There is so much competition, no civic sense in most people. Please don’t say cheap maids are there, because that’s exploiting cheap labor.

And the girl needs to just let people speak, she says things and just makes it seem like ok I said what I said, and that’s it, case closed. That’s not how debates work. Also, she needs to talk to people other than Canada, there are Indians living practically in everywhere now. Canada ka raag aalapna chodo.

There are lot of good things about India too, it’s just people who choose to move out go through lot of pros and cons list and make the tough decision of leaving their birth country and family. Has nothing against the country but yes, there are things and people who don’t make lives easy there.

The ones supporting “life is easier outside India” -
1. highest rate of unemployment in US, UK and many other nations, 2. Community is present in very specific places. Indians are not present everywhere. Less people which is a bit scary.
3. Can’t get a paracetamol from a shop. Need to visit doc for that and doc will give you an appointment after a week or 10days. Horrible healthcare.
4. Pollution is a big problem here.
5. Digital advancement = 0. Even I have to go to a super market to buy vegetables. Don’t have blinkit to deliver in 10mins.
6. 0 house help. So do your own job. That’s not bad but just tedious after a long day of work. So people prefer to opt RTC or RTE food. Wash clothes and houses once a week.
7. Highly expensive compared to some cities in India. Although you earn $100k but your savings will be 0.

So it is best to earn and stay for 5yrs or so and then return back to India as the economy here is drastically growing.

People who want to leave India should research more. They lack abundance amount of knowledge and are misrepresenting information which they are not aware of. Taxes are way higher in other countries than India also you are unable to claim it because it is pre deducted. I wouldn’t say India is 100% safe but I feel it is the same amount of safe than any first world country if not less. Even if you get paid more working abroad it is still expensive, the inflation rate is more the rent, food, utilities are more expensive than India. So it does not matter how much money you make working abroad the expenses are also more. People should do an extensive research and talk to some seniors or colleagues before settling in some abroad country . As a NRI I am and I always will be more proud to be an Indian rather than being a citizen of some other country.

Guys, getting jobs in Canada and US is much difficult now. The big difference just comes in place where you can save and in these countries and comes to India( the conversion) make the difference.

But let me remind you the burn is high here in US/Canada

I am not trying to say India is bad, but if you have to compare things then compare things like this:

1. Population- you are not constantly fighting to get a seat in schools, colleges, work place.
2. Life is relaxed, because you are not always stressed about every small thing.
3. People talk respectfully here, they greet you even when you are a stranger at the grocery store. Heck they even give you their rewards card to use if you don’t have while doing groceries so that you can get some discount, even though they don’t know you.
4. They hold doors for you and not saying why should I do it for a stranger.
5. They look out for you even when you are stranded in the middle of the road by helping you moving your car or whatever rather than staring or taking phones to record etc.
6. The daily mental state is much more calmer, because you are not constantly stuck in traffic where people are honking left and right, I mean you know there is traffic then what is the point of honking? By you honking traffic will move quicker? No, it will only make people more irritable.
7. Women can safely go out alone, even late at night. There is no one constantly staring at them, following them, or touching them inappropriately.
8. You get weekends to relax.
9. School life is not a competition for kids, it’s easier on their mental health. They are not constantly slapped or yelled at for not doing their homework or studying or getting good grades.
10. People don’t bump into you left right if it’s crowded, even in a crowded place they know how to maintain distance so there is no inappropriate touching.
11. When there are accidents people first get out and ask are you doing okay? Rather than how dare you hit me and start physical fight.
12. Less yelling compared to india, people just get upset or mad about even small things. People know how to chill here.
13. Even any government work you need done, bank or dmv or whatever if you have done your part and provided all the necessary information and documents you are not waiting for months or years to get any work done, it’s easier process here.
14. Scams and paper leaks, which destroys so many lives.
15. Corruption at every level, from a chaprasi to the higher ups, every thing you want to get done you have to pay for it, you get stopped by cops, you have to pay them because they will stop you for no reason but not paying them will result in trouble that you didn’t even sign up for.
Life in general is calmer, take a moment and think how these small things add up and makes everyone so stressed and mental health is impacted and people get cranky etc.

Eliminate these small things and then see how peaceful life is. So it’s not always about materialist things that people look for, sometimes mental health is far more important to so many people.

India is such a great country and there are still some people left in India who have some humanity and care left in them. But that number is reducing daily. We used to be united but now divided by so many things, not just religion. Indians within India don’t like each other because they are not from same region. I mean cmon. Where did that India go when people lived in peace? When they were there for each other? When people were welcoming and caring?

India ke bahar kaam karke India mein paise bhejne se employment naa sahi consumption badhta hai. Money through one way or the other circulates in the market and hence helps. Same insaan bahar isse zyada kamayega bachayega ghar better chalayega aur desh mein contribute bhi karega. Kya burai hai darling?
