I'm an Android type of guy (been using an Android phones for about 3 years). I was looking for a high end Android tablet then I came across this Windows 8 tablet.
At first I was skeptic, but once I found out that these freaks can run games like Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 just fine, I was sold!
Preordered it and in few weeks this will be my new toy :)

There is a known issue with Tegra3 drivers still not being mature for WinRT devices. NVidia had this same issue with the Tegra and Tegra2 with Android. If you do the RT path, I would highly recommend going with a device that has the S4 Pro (Krait) SOC.

Still hoping that the new 4, 5 AMD APU find its way into tablets soon.

only if they are running full versions of windows 8, windows rt is the mobile version. so all you have to do is look at the processors they are running on, so to answer it look for anything that is 64bit or if its intel processors, and i don't think until later versions of these machines where you would have enough graphics power to run pc games, but most will come with intel 4000, but you maybe want to give the RT version some thought since, they can actually port real 360 and pc games

Microsoft is already king in world computing for laptops and desktops, and I really think Microsoft will be the king once again in regards to tablets! Reason being is simple; you have a fully powered laptop on steroids in your hands! Simply Magnificent! One thing though, I’m going to buy one of the following 3 brands of windows tablets; Asus, Lenovo, or Samsung, most probably Lenovo as IBM runs the portable computing division, and as we all know IBM is the boss in performance and quality! :-)

It's relatively slow? you sir, don't know what you're talking about. Windows RT is designed to complete with devices like iPad and Android tables and also runs on ARM so it can be slimmer, use less battery, you get the idea. Windows 8 tablets are more thick since it uses Intel i3, i5, i7 processors and uses waaay lot more battery consumption but has a full blown desktop that uses legacy programs. Windows RT is almost as fast and at other times, faster than iOS.

32-64GB of internal storage maybe expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card making a total of 128 GB of storage on any windows 8 current device that was just announced by well known companies, I donno, if have to choose between w8 current device and w7 last year or models before w8 devices e.g. ultrabooks I rather choose ultrabooks for internal storage(w8 is excellent but the hardware its on could be better) just saying

Technically, RT is not Windows 8 RT, it's just Windows RT.

that screen was not set on 1080p, it only had three rows of metro apps, if it was it would have been stacked up to five if im correct, can't remember the right number

May I know if it is capable of running 1080p movie formats like MKV, MP4 or even RMVB out of the box? If it can't, does it allows installation of 3rd party video players with codecs like on Android?

yes, but it has a 11.6" FullHD 1080p 10-points fingers capacitive IPS screen!! lol
And what laptop offer a 5MP 1080p rear camera!?
Maybe you're mistaken, it's not in the laptop platform, but a Tablet PC.

how do you put 32bit Android as equal to 64bit Windows 8, one is mobile and one is pc, there is no comparison
