Thanks so much for this! I have a hard time with notation specifically and with learning in general. It's a relief to finally find a video that clearly breaks the rudiments down and includes slow-motion and at-speed versions of each clearly-notated rudiment. Even with that count mistake and lack of a metronome pointed out by other viewers, it's great.

Begin by learning the Single and Double stroke rolls & the Flam. All rudiments are made up of those 3 strokes.

Hi, I'd like you to answer a question to the single stroke seven. Is the length of the slow performed beat/measure correct? I doubt that, cause the last 7th R-Stroke is a quarter, which makes up also 6 16th-triplets like the 6 played before. But you play it like 5 of the 16th triplets. Is there a reason for that? You are wrong with rudiment 3, There are 7 beats. You made 9.

Very poor grip control of the sticks. Purchase of Burns & More book or is a CD and LP record John Dowling explaining the rudiments correctly John was a good friend of mine may he rest in peace also he is responsible for teaching people back sticking he developed the technique
