The coin with a hole in it, Jason from Modern History TV spoke about lead coins that were given to the working poor that the amount represented, ie; sovereign, could be spent at local food markets and the merchant would punch them indicating they were spent. 🤔. 🤗❤️🌈🙏🕊️

Just a thought, the stone you found with the grooves in it, may have been used to sharpen knives, or even been to used to sharpen flint knives or arrowheads. Hence the V shape grooves.

Beautiful finds, ladies. I was fascinated by the school desk inks. Our desks in grade school had holes for the ink pots, but I didn't know what they were then. Thank you for the history lesson! 😘

I remember using inkwells at school when I went into the senior school, that was in 1966, we were supplied with pens that were like a wooden stick with a metal nib on the end and we were given blotting paper too. We had to fill up our inkwells from a large bottle with a curled metal tube like a metal straw on the end. We were allowed to use fountain pens in the second year of the seniors, later we could use ball point pens that were issued by the school.

I believe that serrated stone needs to be looked at by an archeologist.

The stone with the grooves is either native peoples or neolithic abrading stone. Awesome find! A friend in the U.S.A. Georgia, found one very similar by a native Indian tribe but is believed to be neolithic. Love all your finds!
