How to Read Steelhead Water with Scott Baker McGarva

When I used to guide for steelhead, the number one question I heard was about reading water. Some rivers can be challenging to figure out... Most of us know each run has a head, body and tail, but how do we really break it down so we know how to fish within each of those sections?

Love this video. Lots of good info in there. Scott taught me to fly cast back in a class he taught in like 1993/94 out back of Berry's tackle. He was always great to talk to and very friendly and knowledgable. Helped me out a lot. I literally know how to fly cast because of him. Beautifully put together video too.
