The rafale is definitely more maneuverable. The pitch rate is unmatched, and combine that with its awesome hi alpha ability makes for a super agile jet. However I slightly prefer the gripen. I like that I can go fast and still do 90% of what the rafale does. Plus the gripen has slightly more reliable landing gear and reverse thrust.
