i’ll never forget this show.

after the venue change was announced, i had 48 hours to find a ride from boston to pawtucket, and back. i was sitting in my university’s study hall preparing for a 6 hour lab, and the stress i felt was insane.

luckily, i had a very special friend pull through not even 10 minutes after the announcement. i even rescheduled another class and called out of work for this show.

i’ve never been to rhode island. hell, i’ve barely been outside of massachusetts. checking out pawtucket, and seeing fiddlehead after 2 years, after missing the springtime record release and swearing i wouldn’t miss the next one, it all somehow fell together. had anything else happened i would’ve never made it.

thank you fiddlehead for this album. thank you hate5six for filming this show. thank you darin for being an incredible soul and sharing your story. thank you pawtucket for the warm embrace. and thank you massachusetts for your music.

In the last 6 months I've become a total stan for this band, and it's all thanks to Sunny posting a clip of 'the years' to insta and me going "hey, that sounds like my kinda vibe". Their music has been a life raft in the crazy storm of life for me lately.

So glad i got to go to this. I wanted to go to boston but it was long sold out almost instantly. When they announced the new show moved 15 minutes from my house in prov i thought i was dreaming. Ill never forget this night

Pat could be forgiven for standing behind a mic stand for Fiddle head sets, but he jumps around like he is playing a Black Flag set. I think that is great.
