Is a Psychology Degree for Me?

I want to help others and listen to others because as a child i never had the opportunity for someone to listen to me. But at the same time I want to be a forensic psychologist to know how trauma and other things affect people to make them a criminal. I don’t really like science though mainly biology. But all in all I am interested mainly in law and psychology. I am good at English, History, and Math but science is not my strong suit tbh so that’s why I am having doubts about forensic psychology.

don´t be afraid of the statistics. my professor said in the beginning that statistics in not like math in high school and he was right! Don't make it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

i want to know how the mind works & understand more about mental illnesses and disorders in order to remove the stigma from the society. i also want to develop communication skills so that i'll be able to know how to talk to people struggling with their mental health. i wanted to be their safe space. i want others to have what i didnt have.

I would like to integrate learning psychology with philosophy. I feel as though the two at some level are intertwined and to me, studying one without the other can be akin to reading half of the book of the human condition.

Im feeling overwhelmed and i dont know what to do. I started studying a program that i thought i would enjoy and i was so excited about it but then i realised that i dont enjoy it at all. I have always found interesting to learning about human behaviour, mental health and stuff like that and now that im studying something else i feel like i have make a mistake. Just in time for my contemplation, I'm currently studying BS Psychology and I find it quite good, but this is really not what I want to do. There's something deep inside that wants to breathe, I seem to figure out it a little but I'm afraid to consider it. I might just finish my degree to have a work before I let out what I really want to do.
