Then, one day, for absolutely no reason whatsoever...

Funniest thing is he neglects talking about the early church father’s views on the Jews. Hint : they weren’t so nice

In my country, holocaust denial is illegal. I think that's suspicious, as afaik that's the only thing you're not allowed to question.

It's not wrong to question narratives. Some people act like investigating the facts is already holocaust denial, and unacceptable, which is stupid. If only a million Jews died, or if ten million died, then that's something that is fair game to discuss.

20:39 I’m pretty sure she meant the nazis we’re not the only bad guys of WWII, that’s not denying the holocaust it’s acknowledging how the other cleansing’s were just as horrible. I recommend watching her full episode cause she goes deep into what was going on with the Germans.

Zero white supremicists watched the video and instead came straight to the comments section to say the pre-manufactured immature lines. Neo-nazis are so cringe and immature that I have a new-found respect for flat Earthers.

speaking as an ex neo-nazi, the characterization that historical revisionists/holocaust deniers think NS Germany had no plan for undesirables is, quite frankly, ludicrous. most all of them dispute the numbers of the death toll (because they don't add up), but nobody disputes that the death was brought forth intentionally, as a matter of fact that aspect of it is often celebrated. if you have someone telling you the violence against jews, communists, and pretty much anyone else deemed unfit was mere coincidence or a forcing of Germany's hand, they're either lying about their views or they haven't read Mein Kampf.

edit for clarification: i no longer condone the actions of NS Germany or any other groups that took inspiration from them. i abhor violence in all forms, and see defensive violence as the only acceptable form of it. St. Kolbe pray for us, glory to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Darryl Cooper isn't a holocaust denier, the point he was making is that the holocaust might have been avoided had Churchill not instigated further war by bombing German civilians. Whether that's true or not I don't know but Cooper definitely does not deny that the holocaust happened, so that accusation seems pretty uncalled for.

This comment section just proves Trent's point :( You can't deny a historical event just because it makes you uncomfortable.

Amazing how Trent is suddenly an expert on "everything." Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy.

I had no idea there was a holocaust centered rite of the Catholic church. Thanks for teaching me something new Trent!

I think we are trying to make the line between denial and skepticism disappear, a lot of people just ask: "did it happen as they said" and people get OUTRAGED. Why is that? Almost every historical event has been questioned. I don't personally deny it but sometimes I feel that the event's factuality is being very forced. As a Greek from Anatolia, I totally get the pain that you get from people denying your people being killed, I get mad too when Turkish people deny that the Pontic and Anatolian Greek genocide happened. But the difference is that us Greeks don't go around the internet forcing the factuality of the fact so passionately. When some people become obsessed with trying to prove something and insulting people who even question it, people are gonna see the fact as unappealing to agree with.

I recommend every denialist visit Central and Eastern Europe to see with their own eyes what the Germans did in the occupied territories. You don't need to visit expensive cities or spend a fortune on tickets. The crimes were so widespread that even in small towns and villages, you'll find modest museums, mass graves, sites of execution, and more.

As soon as you make it illigal to question something it's immediately clear that you're making up some bs to benifit yourselves.

Why is the Holocaust still being brought up today as if it just happened yesterday? I feel that this is the sentiment that most people disenfranchised with this whole issue have. At a certain point, numbers become an incomprehensible tragedy (what's the difference between 300, 000 and 6 million?). Yet, atrocities similar and worse in scale are obviously common throughout history, but the groups that constantly use these historical events somehow as a justification for garnering sympathy or reparations today are at best foolish and at worst greedy and cunning. I have never met a Pole, Romanian, Gay, Disabled, etc. who constantly bickers about how their ancestors were treated in the Holocaust. The Jews? I can't say the same. The time for them to stop victimizing themselves is long past, and they are consistently ruining their credibility and reputation by bringing up old dirt. Of course, this is not profitable from a financial or political standpoint, so why would they?

Guys it's literally because he's Jewish. He may be Catholic, but his loyalty will always be to the Tribe. Just like the Conversos in Spain, just like the majority of so-called "Jews" that are actually atheists. The fact that they hide is their strength.
